Bruce L. Amor, May 27, 1948 - May 13, 2018, Marina, CA

Bruce LeRoy Amor, 69, of Marina, CA, passed away peacefully in his home on May 13th 2018 after a long fight with Alzheimer's Disease.

He was born in Monterey, CA on May 27th 1948 and grew up in Pacific Grove, CA. Bruce graduated from Pacific Grove High School in 1966 and was married to Sharon Lesch in 1979; they were married for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, two daughters Allison Leleua (Ben) and Keely Amor; three grandsons Jordan, Eli, and Leo Leleua; brother John Amor; and sister Diane Nuki. He will be greatly missed by his entire family.

by Carol Bradley Lauderdale - Bruce and Sharon have been my neighbors across the street (and down a couple of houses) for the past fourteen years ever since I moved into the neighborhood here in Marina.

They were such a lovely family and Sharon and the girls have taken such good care of Bruce at home since he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's nearly ten years ago.

I did not know Bruce passed away a month ago as I seldom see Sharon outside to talk with her. It is very sad to learn he is no longer with us.

Sharon has been a loving and devoted wife and has cared for Bruce all this time basically by herself. He was so very lucky to be able to stay at home with her until the end. She has taken such good care of him and I know she is feeling a huge void in her life now.
