I love photographing people. I want my clients to look amazing. I photograph my clients as if they're going to appear in a fashion magazine, or an editorial in Vanity Fair.

I started my career working as an artist at the Walt Disney Studio in Burbank, California. Later, I took the opportunity to work overseas at Disney's office in Hong Kong, as a creative director.

After twenty happy years at Disney, Kit and I moved to Maui and opened the creative studio, Cool Lagoon, in 2002; offering full-service design solutions, including portrait photography and consumer product photography.

In 2005, I was offered the opportunity to work overseas, as vice president and creative director, at the largest trading company in the world: Li & Fung Ltd. Hong Kong.

During my years at Li & Fung, I built a product development team and received a promotion to senior vice president, and creative leader for Li & Fung's corporate communications. I developed a team of in-house designers and photographers, for corporate advertising campaigns, products, events, and of course the people of Li & Fung. We traveled to many of Li & Fung's offices, to work with our colleagues, including New York, Paris, London, Istanbul, New Delhi, Bangkok and Shanghai. It was in this demanding corporate environment, that I polished my skill as a commercial photographer.

After eight amazing years at Li & Fung, Kit and I moved back to our home on Maui, and opened Cool Lagoon Studio. Kit started her accessories and wedding planning business and Ron launched his photography business. Both of our businesses are part of Cool Lagoon, Inc.
