Happily married to James Balesteri who graduated from Junipero Memorial High School in 1963. Have two children: James David who gradated from PG High in 2001 and Lisa Balesteri who graduated from PG High in 1996. Have worked for the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey as an Administrative Assistant for over 35 years.

Angela Kathleen (Watts) Balesteri
November 4, 1948 - February 5, 2006
PACIFIC GROVE - Angela Balesteri lost her battle with cancer on February 5th, 2006 and began her journey with God. For the 57 years she blessed us with her presence, she touched many hearts. She was truly one of God's angels on earth and will continue to be one in heaven.
For 35 years she worked as an Administrative Officer for the Naval Postgraduate School. For her outstanding performance in numerous capacities, she received the honor of the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award. She was well respected and loved by all she worked with and will be sorely missed.
More importantly she lived her life as a loving mother and wife. Motherhood was her greatest joy, and she was proud of her two children and their accomplishments. She took pride in the fact that she was not only a Mom but also their friend. The strength of her love was probably most apparent in her marriage. She was married for over 32 years to her devoted husband James Balesteri. Through her 2 year battle with cancer, James never lost hope or left her side.
Her love, kindness, and warm heart will be remembered forever by those she left behind. She is survived by her husband, James Balesteri; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Balesteri and Jaime Noguera; her granddaughter, Sophia Noguera; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Hope Balesteri; father and mother, Dave and Betty Watts; brothers, Alan, Steve and Richard Watts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Words cannot express how much we love and miss her.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the Mission Mortuary in Monterey. The Rosary will take place at St. Angela's Church in Pacific Grove at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2006. The Funeral is Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Angela's Church.
