Kenneth Roland McBrayer, 46, of Eureka, a former resident of Pacific Grove, died Nov. 10, at Eureka General Hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1948, at the Presidio of San Francisco. He lived in Pacific Grove from 1958 until 1982, when he moved to Eureka. Mr. McBrayer was a graduate of Pacific Grove High School and attended Monterey Peninsula College. He was a counselor at Crestwood Manor Mental Health Hospital in Eureka for more than 12 years. He is survived by his mother, Hallie McBrayer of Pacific Grove; and a brother, Jeffrey of Crescent City. At his request, no services will be held. Following cremation, the ashes will be scattered at sea. Pierce Chapel in Eureka is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the donor’s favorite charity.
