Guy Friddle Guy Alan Friddle, 55, a retired U.S. Navy serviceman, died Sept. 8 at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield. He was born August 16, 1947, in Pittsburg, and grew up on the Monterey Penninsula. He graduated from Pacific Grove High School in 1966 and then served in the Navy. After retiring, he returned to the peninsula briefly before settling in Bakersfield. Mr. Friddle had many jobs and was particularly fond of mechancial work. He also enjoyed playing his guitar. He is survived by a son James.

After retiring he settled in Bakersfield. While he held many jobs, he was fond of mechanical work. He is survived by his mother, Jean Friddle of Sea-side; a sister Jean Ann Watts of Seaside; three brothers, Marc Friddle of Seaside, Kennett Friddle of Odenton, Md and Mike Friddle of Buffalo, NY.
